OUR STORY
Founded in 2023 by Erin Chow '25, Gift of Care is a student-led community engagement organization at Catlin Gabel School rooted in the belief that a group of compassionate and determined students can serve as a catalyst to provide support and basic needs to women and children who are experiencing homelessness in our local community.
OUR MISSION
We are committed to promote awareness, understanding, assistance, and compassion to the vulnerable and underserved houseless communities of women and children. Through our supportive work, we hope to provide resources and be part of the impactful agents that give stability and basic needs to those who need them the most.
OUR WORK
We organized neighborhood and community-wide donation drives, assembled hygiene supplies, made personalized Thanksgiving greeting cards, and held bake sales fundraising events to support our houseless community. Our near term projects include outreach programs to local organizations to support our endeavors. Donations are given to an established non-profit organization that provides safe shelters, meals, and resources to our targeted local community.
